Toddler Backpack

My husband and I travel often- not any place exotic, but between our parent’s lake cottages, sporadic weekend getaways, and visiting family, I would say we travel more than average. Each time we get ready to embark on another journey, I use a different bag from my Vera Bradly stash telling myself, “This bag will be so convenient…”.  I toy with packing each girl in her own bag, in one bag or all of us in my bag to make lugging things in and out more efficient.  The bottom line is that it is always going to be a pain in the neck to travel with two toddlers.

BUT I have been on the lookout for a way to pack each girl better… then I thought,backpacks! The problem with most backpacks is that they’re too small to hold anything substantial or too large to fit their little bodies.  Then, one day after hours of internet shopping in my bed.. I hit the jackpot….

The morning struggle…

I don’t know how working moms do it. Tech445EC6FD-A815-43E7-ACE4-567195990855nically I’m doing it, just not successfully.  My husband leaves for work before the girls even wake up.  I wake up between 4:45- 5:30 to (workout somedays) get myself ready before the girls wake up.  They are early risers (insert eye roll) and start to stir between 5:30 and 6 every morning while they look for their pacifiers.  There were many times I was going to take those damn pacifiers away, but for now, they make life easier!!

Coconut Oil is Life!

Coconut oil is a household MUST! I am one of those people that thinks coconut oil can coconut oilcure the world’s problems.  I cook with it, eat it, use it on my body (and I haveoily/zity skin),  hair, and literally anything you can think of.

My husband thinks I’m insane, but it is such a go-to product. One of my girls has eczema and it has been a lifesaver on her skin.  The twins were born 6 weeks early and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. The NICU therapist stressed the importance of baby massages, and coconut oil was what we used on them from day 1.
